The art of play

Supporting a culture that allows for freedom, joy and imagination to flourish is primary to the success of any collective act of creativity or ensemble performance work.

In this workshop, Michael Keegan-Dolan will share ways of working, cultivated with dancers, actors and musicians over twenty-five years, focusing on how presence, awareness, rhythm, tone and the skilful use of space are fundamental in the development of a lively and creative group dynamic.

We will work together with attention on different elemental and energetic forces, exploring the application of the senses to the art of play.

It is possible to remain true to one’s own creativity while fully participating in collective work.
